Prayer for Spiritual Adventurers

Spirit of Life and Love,
known by many names and yet fully known by none,
be present with us in the hour of sadness,
in the hour of grief,
in the hour of uncertainty,
in the hour of challenge.

​Be present with us 
and call our attention to the hour of joy, 
to the broad vistas 
​and the flashes of beauty available to us 
​if we only would notice.

Move us to be present to one another
throughout this adventure of life.
Move us to make straight a pathway
and to make the rough places plain,
spreading justice and kindness along the road
so that all may follow the journeys of their souls.
To these we add the silent prayers of our hearts.
